Peter McDonald - Associate

Peter McDonald is a native of Florida. Mr. McDonald attended Florida State University, where he graduated magna cum laude in May 2014 and received B.S. degrees in Criminology and Sociology. During his time at Florida State University, Mr. McDonald worked at the Executive Office of Governor Rick Scott in the Administrative Department.

Mr. McDonald received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he concentrated on national security law and policy. During law school, Mr. McDonald completed internships in the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, and with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor at the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He joined Mark Barnes and Associates in March 2016.

At Mark Barnes and Associates, Mr. McDonald focuses on import-export controls, administrative law and regulatory compliance for defense companies.

Mr. McDonald is a member of the Florida Bar. His practice is limited to federal agencies only.
